Anastasia Ivanenko

I have a passion for working with children and their parents and helping them become self-reliant in our increasingly complicated world. My clients’ stories inspire me and I strive to empower them to be the best versions of themselves.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Petersburg State University, a leading university in Russia, as well as a dual master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and Child Development from Tufts University. I have extensive experience in pediatric occupational therapy and have worked in a variety of settings including early intervention, schools, and private clinics. I also was a co-founder of KidLink Therapy, a pediatric OT clinic in Lexington, MA. I take pride in continuing my own education and hold the following certificates:

  • Sensory Integration Certification (certificate # 3554)

  • Neurodevelopmental Treatment Certification (certificate # 80185)

  • Therapeutic Listening

  • iLs Advanced Practitioner

  • SOS approach to feeding

  • MORE: integrating the mouth with sensory and postural function

  • Functional Vision: Assessment and Intervention

In addition to working directly with children and their families, I enjoy teaching. I taught a graduate-level course at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. I also teach sensory integration courses internationally and serve as an advisor to clinics abroad.

I am a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, World Federation of Occupational Therapists, Sensory Integration Education UK and NeuroDevelopmental Treatment Association.

I would like to describe my gratefulness and appreciation to Anastasia who has worked with my son for a couple of years providing him with occupational therapy at home and the office setting. My son has a rare disorder and it is hard to find specialists who can assist in developing life skills to improve the quality of life of a child and help caregivers to deal with the burden of providing the everyday care they need. Anastasia provided to us not only hands-on care and occupational therapy but was my mentor, a consultant that would direct me to appropriate doctors, schools, activities. She was teaching me how to best care for my child, allowing him to be as independent as possible, yet at the same time acquiring skills of mobility, personal care in the format of play. Anastasia is a great therapist with many years of experience in pediatric field, knowledge of children’s development, and at the same time is a very warm person who is ready to help and advice with any dilemmas that parents and caregivers are facing, and I would very much want to recommend her for therapies for your children.
